Jewish wedding at Rocabella Santorini

When I think of Alex and Kim’s wedding, the first words that occur to me are harmony and beauty. For Kim and Alex are indeed one of the most beautiful and evidently well-matched couples I have ever met. This wedding was unique for many reasons, but mainly because all of its components were so perfect that the only thing I had to do was capture this perfection with the best perspective. What more could a photographer wish for?

Kim and Alex had planned their dream wedding down to the last detail. And they had chosen the most romantic wedding destination in Greece, a volcanic island known for its fascinating history and its magical sunsets: Santorini. The ceremony took place at Rocabella Boutique Hotel, against the stunning backdrop of the infinite Aegean blue. All the key ingredients for an unforgettable wedding were there: an lovely, dynamic couple very much in love, surrounded by friends and family eager to celebrate every moment with them, a wonderful atmosphere, lots of jokes and laughter (especially during the bride and groom’s preparation with the help of the bridesmaids and groom mates, respectively), tears of happiness, endless dancing and singing, and of course all the charming meaningful Jewish wedding traditions. The bride and the groom stood under the chuppah, the bridal canopy symbolizing the home that the couple will build together. The betrothal blessings were recited and the couple drank the wine, a symbol of joy in Jewish tradition. Another traditional element was the well-known custom of the breaking of the glass.

Vana Efkleidou and the amazing team of White Ribbon had created the most beautiful wedding decoration both for the chuppah and the reception, with Redboxdays floral arrangements. Vana’s support was invaluable and, as I have often said, behind every successful wedding there is a passionate wedding planner that coordinates everything with professionalism and love. I also had the chance to cooperate once again with the very talented videographer Kostas Katanakis and the photographer Yiannis Sotiropoulos; working with them was sheer pleasure!

Dear Kim & Alex, thank you so much for your trust and for giving me the chance to share this awesome experience with you and your guests. I wish you from the bottom of my heart a dream life together!
