Honeymoon in Venice

This has been a really fantastic year from all aspects; it wouldn’t be an exaggeration if I said that it has really felt like a fairy tale… This is why I find it so hard to describe it in words. I can hardly think of anything else I might wish for. It is all just too good to be true!
What I find particularly moving is the fact that I met such awesome people, couples from all over the world who gave me the chance to shoot their weddings and travel to destinations in Greece and in Europe in general – wonderful places that I had never imagined I would ever visit.
When I first visited Tuscany with Giorgos and Stavroula in order to cover their honeymoon trip photographically, I made a wish: to have the chance to enjoy such trips every year. It seems that my wish has come true…
I met Thodoris and Vicky in winter and, while planning their wedding from London, we thought that it would be perfect if I spent some time with them during their honeymoon in Venice to capture happy moments of this trip for ever. The success of such shootings is guaranteed only if a close and genuine relationship develops between the photographer and the couple long before the happy event… And Thodoris and Vicky made me feel comfortable with them right from the first minute. The more I got to know them, the more I liked them. Working with them was an amazing experience simply because they are such an amazing couple! And it is always so deeply satisfying when a friendship blooms out of a professional cooperation!
Walking in the narrow picturesque streets of Venice I literally fell in love with this incredibly romantic city. And I somehow know that I will visit this fascinating destination again and again in the future.
