A heaven on earth, Santorini!
Santorini is a Mediterranean dreamy place out of this world...When you first step on your foot on the island, you 'll encounter images that you won't easily forget. The small churches and chapels of the island painted in creamy white, are mirroring the innocense of your first love.
This is what Rebecca and Anthony is all about. When I first met them, I sensed immediately the gentleness of their hearts. So, I wasn't quite surprised when told me their plans about Le Ciel. Nowhere on earth, you are going to find this extraordinary white color of purity and innosense. Nowhere on earth, the sky and sea are blending so equally together, forming an infinite blue -"serenity." Furthermore, the white rocks of the island created by volcano eruptions, thousands of years ago, are creating the most mystagogical scene, ever.

Le Ciel, undoubtely it is the "balcony of the Aegean". To any visitor, without distinctions, grands its magical sunset that's unforgettable. Especially Imerovigli, having only 500 inhabitants it is one of the most graphic Greek villages. To me, every visit there is a unique experience. I was excited! And so were they...
An old proverb says that love is something you can never hide. Well said! Because Rebecca and Anthony wouldn’t be able to hide their love even if they tried! Add to that the fact that they are a stunningly beautiful and perfectly matched couple. Shooting their wedding felt like photographing superstars and every moment spent with them, was an amazing experience! For sure this is something that I will never forget!
Rebecca and Anthony chose Santorini and especially Le Ciel as their wedding destination, as Anthony had happened to visit this magical Greek island in the past. Rebecca, just loved the idea of celebrating the beginning of their life together, there. Beloved families and friends were thrilled to travel from all over the world, to this jewel of the Aegean, just to witness one of the loveliest wedding stories of this summer.
Time for Wedding Photography!
The happy groom and the groomsmen got ready at Dana Villas. It is one of the most known wedding venues, having a breathtaking view of the caldera and the infinite blue of the sea. Just before the ceremony, they enjoyed wine and took some time to relax. They were all very handsome and stylish in their black tuxedos and bow ties.
Rebecca and her bridesmaids had an equally great time at Imerovigli. They were drinking champagne, laughing and enjoying the unique view... As we said, Le Ciel is famous for its sunset but it has a glorious sunshine, too!
Rebecca was just outstanding in that wedding dress! It was a handmade ethereal lace creation, of the famous designer Galia Lahav. The Badgley Mischka bridal shoes she was wearing were a perfect match. Just fabulous!
The time was on. Le Ciel village in Santorini, is an elegant luxury venue. It combines an idyllic natural setting with Mediterranean grandeur, on a romantic terrace; all these wonderfully decorated by Paper Flowers. When Anthony saw Rebecca walking down the aisle on her father’s arm, he couldn’t hold back his tears. It was a very sweet and emotional moment! The bride’s dad gave her away and all the guests were deeply moved. It is always a priceless experience when you witness the happiness of a couple, so much in love.

The wedding day continued with a photo shoot at some of my favourite locations, in the most picturesque corners of Le Ciel. I was among dazzling white Cycladic houses and blue-domed churches; against the backdrop of the volcanic landscape and the waters of the Aegean. Under the most beautiful sun... Walking around the island with this amazing couple, it was a wonderful experience. Together we created some of the greatest photos of their big day.
As the sun started going down, all the guests were waiting for the wedding reception. It was time for the newlyweds’ first dance amidst impressive fireworks.
When the couple arrived, everybody joined in and sang their first song. And the beautiful scene culminated when Rebecca, in Anthony’s arms, leaned backwards for the traditional kiss!
