Santorini Gem was the perfect wedding venue for Misa and Kai’s enchanting celebration of love. As a professional wedding photographer who travels extensively, I was thrilled to have the opportunity to capture their special day in one of the top 3 wedding destinations, especially popular among couples from the Far East – Santorini.
When I first spoke with Misa and Kai about their Santorini wedding and discovered their Japanese roots, I was beyond excited. This incredibly gentle and sweet-tempered couple allowed me to connect with a world I sincerely love and admire: Japanese culture. Ever since I began exploring the arts, the beauty, grace, and harmony of Japanese aesthetics and philosophy have profoundly influenced me. I have always been captivated by Japanese poetry, literature, the exquisite photography of Japanese cinema, and even the mellifluous timbre of their musical language.
In the breathtaking setting of Santorini Gem, Misa and Kai’s wedding was a harmonious blend of their heritage and the magical essence of Santorini, creating an unforgettable experience for all who attended.
I can say that the experience of Misa and Kai’s wedding on the island that offers the most breathtaking sunsets was everything I had imagined –and so much more. Honestly, I feel so lucky when I meet and work with such warm and beautiful people. Their innate kindness and respect for the others motivated me to give my 100% to make them happy!
The wedding ceremony took place in a fantastic venue, Santorini Gem, on the hill next to Santo Wines, which offers magnificent views of the island’s caldera and the volcano.
An additional advantage for me was the chance to cooperate with planners Julia and Evita from Santorini Glam Weddings, who put all their love, talent and creativity into the splendid decoration and the effort to organize everything perfectly.
Misa and Kai, thank you from the bottom of my heart for choosing me as your wedding photographer and for allowing me to share the wonderful experience of your wedding in Santorini!
