Do you believe in friendships that blossom despite long distance? I do. They say that “distance means little when friendship means so much”; and in my life I have often found out that this is 100% true.
When you have a friend that lives on the other side of the planet and you finally meet him for the first time, the feeling is unbelievable. This is what happened with a lovely couple, Lawrence and Joulie, who happened to visit Greece during their trip to Europe from the States. Lawrence is an amazing photographer –a true artist– and I feel blessed to know him. One day I saw his photo posted on Instagram and I was thrilled to find out that he was in Greece. I immediately sent him a message and we arranged to meet. So the actual story started in the beautiful island of Santorini, where I met Lawrence and Joulie. It was wonderful to have the chance to spend time with them and I was really moved that they honored me with their trust, allowing me to take their first official photos as a couple! We walked together through the narrow cobblestone streets of Santorini, enjoyed the breathtaking view of the Aegean sparkling under the glorious Greek sun, discussed photography and chose the best settings for their engagement photoshoot.
Dear Joulie and Lawrence, I can’t thank you enough for sharing precious time with me during your holidays. The positive feelings I received from you still warm my heart… I hope we meet again in New York for another great photoshoot!
