Jennifer & Bryan | Wedding in Costa Navarino

This is the fourth wedding I have shot in Costa Navarino, by far one of the best wedding venues in Greece. No matter how many times I have visited this place, it never ceases to amaze me. This exquisite luxury resort, surrounded by acres of lavender fields dotted with olive trees and the idyllic green landscape of the golf course, is the ideal setting for a dream wedding; and this is exactly what Jennifer and Bryan’s wedding turned out to be. I must say it was one of the most challenging and exciting tasks I have ever undertaken –for many reasons. Three unforgettable days packed with music, action and events that culminated in a beautiful ceremony and endless partying to celebrate the love of a lovely young couple.

For three days the talented wedding planning team of the Twelve Events coordinated everything with absolute precision and created an imaginative and aesthetically perfect wedding decoration & the professional wedding DJ Christos Nikas and his Showtime literally rocked the celebrations and kept the vibe so high that everybody danced non-stop for hours…

The celebrations started the day before the wedding with a pre-wedding party at the restaurant Flame at the Dunes Course clubhouse, which is actually in the area of the golf club of Costa Navarino. Everyone gathered there for a welcome drink and the atmosphere was warm, welcoming and relaxed. A very good jazz band set the pace with live music at first, but when the DJs took over with especially selected music, the party really took off and emotions ran high!

The following day the preparations of the groom and the bride took place in the suites of Westin with the help of the groom mates and bridesmaids, respectively. The wedding ceremony took place in the Church of Panagia Myrtidiotissa, Pylos. The weather was sweet and sunny –definitely a good omen– and the happy couple, surrounded by loving friends and families, were evidently moved.

The wedding reception was held in Pero, at the Romanos, a fantastic restaurant that seems to be floating over the blue waters. The elegant architecture of Romanos, the graceful decoration, beautiful down to the last detail, including a grand piano, and the impressive fireworks, accompanied by great jazz music, along with the touching speeches of the two fathers and the bride and bridegroom themselves, completed ideally the picture. The photoshoot took place both inside Costa Navarino and in the broader golf area.

After the wedding dinner the party went on at the Anax Lounge, at the Romanos again, with unbelievable music chosen by the DJs and a wedding photo booth, and the evening concluded with Greek music played by a bouzouki band and the traditional custom of plate smashing and throwing carnations –lots of carnations!!!

But the parties were not over! There was a terrific beach party at the beach bar Barbouni, with more music, delicious “mezedes”, a barbecue, an inspired decoration, and crazy games on the seaside.

Dear Jennifer and Bryan, I have no words to thank you for this amazing experience. May your days always be full with sunshine, happiness and love!
